What is a Fertility Doula?
Jessica Voris is a patient advocate who provides informational and emotional support for women struggling with infertility.
Who needs one?
I work with couples and single women who have been struggling with fertility. Women who haven't felt heard or supported through months or often years of trying to get pregnant.
I'm your go-to guide for navigating the world of in vitro ferilitization. I'll help you understand the options available, interpret confusing medical language and create organizational tools to aid in the clinical side, like a spreadsheet and calendar to track all medications, office visits, labs. I'm your sounding board and brainstorming partner. I'll be your advocate. I'll have your back.
Why Jessica?
Having been through years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF, I understand where you’re coming from. It’s emotionally and physically exhausting. No one around you who hasn’t been in your shoes knows what to say, and they often mistakenly say the wrong thing. Your partner doesn’t quite understand the toll that all of the hormones take on you. Your doctor and nurses solely provide clinical support. All this ends up leaving you feeling very isolated and unsupported.
I’ve been there. I know it’s a process where you have to remain optimistic, but also fear you won’t be prepared if the bottom falls out. It’s isolating and overwhelming. That’s where I come in.
Through a series of in-person or virtual visits and phone sessions, I’ll help you navigate the entire process from start to finish.

A comprehensive roadmap for your individualized fertility journey
Organizational tools to aid in the clinical side -- spreadsheet and calendar to track all medications, office visits, labs and more
Supportive visit after positive or negative implantation
A meeting to discuss next steps regarding upcoming pregnancy milestones, or future IVF cycles
